The body of a missing two-year-old girl is believed to have been found months after her mother was allegedly killed by her father in the same Texas city.

Jyron Charles Lee, the father of 2-year-old Nadia Lee, is accused of killing his wife, Nancy Reed, and his daughter, who went missing in October 2022, according to the Houston Police Department per People.

On Monday (March 20), Nadia's body was believed to have been found in Vince Bayou in Pasadena, Texas. Officials are still waiting for autopsy results to confirm that the remains belong to the 2-year-old girl.

The alleged killings stem from an investigation that began on October 18, 2022, when officers responded to reports of an assault at a Pasadena hotel. According to police, Lee admitted to putting Reed in a chokehold following an argument to "prevent her from injuring their children."

She was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Nadia was unaccounted for amid a police investigation into the incident and ruled missing.

Lee was later charged with murder in Reed's death, and police now believe the father also killed Nadia.

Family members previously told ABC13 that Reed was engaged in an abusive relationship with Lee.
