A TikTok creator’s improvised jingle for Dr Pepper has secured a national television spot.

Romeo, who posts under the handle @romeosshow, shared a short video on December 23 singing a self-made Dr Pepper “theme song.” In the clip, she sings, “Dr Pepper baby. It’s good and nice. Doo. Doo. Doo." The TikToker tagged the brand and joked, “Please get back to me with a proposition we can make thousands together.”

The video went viral, racking up more than 42 million views, five million likes, and over 300,000 bookmarks in less than a month. Dr Pepper soon noticed, replying in the comments, “Hold on…. You might be onto something.”

On Monday (January 19), Dr Pepper officially unveiled a new commercial featuring Romeo’s jingle, titled “Dr Pepper Baby (Good & Nice Jingle) by @Romeosshow.” The roughly 15-second ad showcases the brand’s original, diet, and zero-sugar cans, with Romeo’s vocals set to an instrumental beat and the lyrics appearing on screen. The commercial aired nationally during the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship game.

Dr Pepper captioned the ad, “A song written by @Romeosshow about the 23 flavors of Dr Pepper? It’s a Pepper thing.”

Romeo celebrated the moment with a follow-up TikTok, jokingly accepting an “award” for best national championship commercial before raising a bottle of Dr Pepper like a trophy. She thanked her “supporters” and “all of the Dr Pepper fans” who “rallied together to make this moment happen,” calling the experience a “big win.”

Dr Pepper responded in the comments, “This speech gets a 23-hour standing ovation from us."
